Who we are

What we collect when you book

Your name, mobile number, email address (if you give it), emirate, area and address, the services you are interested in, the type of property, any notes you add, your preferred visit time, whether you would like us to WhatsApp or call you, and the language you used.

How you found us

If you arrived from an advert or a link, we record where from (campaign tags such as utm_source, Google and Meta click identifiers, the page you landed on and the referring site), so we know which advertising works.

Technical data

Like any website, our hosting and security services process your IP address and basic device and browser information to deliver pages, stop spam bookings and keep the site secure.

The room visualiser

If you use the room visualiser, the photo you choose goes from your browser to our server and on to OpenAI, which makes the image and sends it back to your browser. We keep neither your photo nor the result, and no one else sees them. Your browser shrinks the photo before sending it, which removes most of the information hidden in it; if the photo records where it was taken, we keep only the approximate area (to about a kilometre), to see where the visualiser is used.

OpenAI does not use the photo to train its models, and keeps it for up to 30 days to detect abuse before deleting it. To keep the visualiser free and fair, we count the images each device and each internet connection makes in a day, using a small cookie and a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address, and keep those counts for up to 90 days.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure visits and bookings, and the Meta Pixel to measure our Facebook and Instagram advertising. These set cookies or similar technologies in your browser. You can turn this measurement off at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page, or block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you visit from Europe, it stays off unless you turn it on.

Why we use your data

To arrange, confirm and carry out your home visit; to contact you about it by phone, WhatsApp or email; to prepare your quote and your order; to keep a record of our customers and their orders; and to understand which of our advertising works. We do not sell your data.

Who processes it for us

Supabase (our customer database), Vercel (website hosting), Cloudflare (spam protection on the booking form), Resend (booking emails), Google (analytics, advertising measurement and the map on our contact page, which loads only when you choose to show it) and Meta (advertising measurement). Some of these process data outside the UAE; we use them under their data processing terms.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and customer records for as long as you are a customer, and afterwards only for as long as warranty, accounting and legal obligations require.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted or restrict how we use it, and you can object to marketing at any time. Email info@reemfurnishings.com and we will reply within 30 days.

Security

Your booking goes over an encrypted connection, the booking database is not reachable from the public website, and access is limited to our team.

If we change this notice we will update the date above.
